"Wait Till Helen Comes" by Mary Downing Hahn is a ghost story centered around Molly and Michael, who resent their younger stepsister, Heather, after their parents marry. The family moves to a converted church in the country that borders a graveyard, where Heather becomes drawn to the ghost of a young girl named Helen. Heather claims to be talking to Helen and warns Molly and Michael that Helen is coming for them. Molly realizes Heather is in danger and must save her from Helen, who is trying to lure Heather into a pond where other children have drowned. Molly also discovers Heather's secret about the fire that killed her mother and helps her confide in her father, Dave.
