SEBASTIAN ALVARADO is an assistant professor at Queens College, CUNY, where he studies molecular ecology and behavioral neuroscience. He received his PhD from McGill University and carried out postdoctoral research at Stanford. Sebastian cofounded the science consulting and communication firm, Thwacke!, which improves the portrayal of science in the entertainment sector. He has consulted for TV, film, video games, and museum exhibits, including helping to craft the secret formula and process behind Captain America's Super Soldier Serum for Marvel's traveling exhibit, Marvel Avengers S.T.A.T.I.O.N.
