The book is in like new condition with no defects or issues. This is an excellent historical fiction novel from Diane Hager about a young woman who is propelled her into drama with the Vatican and Roman society as she attempts to join a convent after her beloveds death. It all centers around the Ruby Ring she wore in a portrait painted by her beloved. She must give it up or face the consequences.
