Pretentious painters who dip their brushes in blood. Scientific rubberneckers/car crash fetishists. Riding a bus into the starry infinite (not like Miss Frizzle though). Imagine Beavis and Butthead talking about humanity vs. space while staring into the abyss. One theme bleeds into the next, creating new but linking stories out of a specific vocab: Everything is crumbling, crimson, convulsing, harsh and tattered, collapsed in upon itself, animalistic as now-empty skeletons. There's the eruption of debris, thunder and light(ning), realities melding and fading, everyone burning and screaming in an acrid apocalypse.
