I purchased this book used for my Intro to Sociology class. This read thoroughly examines concepts such as consumerism and many ideologies that have an influence the way in which we behave and think in our society. At the same time this book challenges readers to not only be aware of the societal issues around them but helps them understand the causes and effects of social problems and crises known or unknown.
