In fact, designers regularly present two or three design options, or comprehensives, to their clients. Although each can present vastly different styles and/or concepts, each should be equally responsive to the project at hand. In other words, more than one solution can be appropriate. Often, the selected concept has more to do with a client's personal taste than it does with the effectiveness of the design itself.
