green embossed cloth hardcover has wear, edge wear, bumped/worn corners.  binding loose, front inside hinge cracked with threads exposed, frontispiece/illustration is detached. spots on title page, corner torn off. top of preface page cut off( probably had a name) .  310 pages with various amounts of age toning, spotting/spots scattered throughout.   gold lettering/decoration on spine. This antique book is in fair condition. The binding is loose, but the pages are intact with writing in the margins of some of the pages. Notes from previous owner in the margins of the book. The original owner wrote his name and his brothers name on the first inside page. There is some staining on the pages due to poor storage.
