This is the 1972 Haskell House facsimile reprint 2nd edition of Mather’s work. Mather was a 17th-18th century puritan clergyman. He is known as “America’s first Evangelical”. This address was given in 1690. The book is in very good condition with slight smudges on the cover (most likely from price stickers). There is a signature for the previous owner and two info leaflets (one of which is an original advertisement for this volume, the other is an encyclopedia entry on Mather) taped to one of the opening pages. There is also a very faint pen marking on the back cover. The pages are free of annotations.
