Seller Description
This is a 1991 Scarecrow Press edition. Mender details how to properly prepare musical manuscripts and etch scores carefully and precisely. There are score examples in the last section. This is a very helpful book for composers/arrangers who do their work by hand and need a helpful guide to focus in on the craft of score preparation and etching. There are also helpful guides for approaching/detailing certain instrumental idiosyncrasies, such as harp glissando, extended techniques, multi phonics, string harmonics, etc. The book is in very good shape. Spine is strong, and pages are free of annotations. There is only slight shelf wear.
