1937 M. Witmark and Sons. This book is a primer for big band (jazz band) arranging and composition from the Big Band era (the 1930s). Contents are pictured. The book itself has some foxing on the pages and some browning. Minor staining on the front cover and a little bit of shelf wear. A pencil annotation is found at the beginning of the book and there’s a signature from the previous owner in pen. The binding is in ok shape. Lots of life left in this volume, and it’s a great text for those interested in arranging for big band.
