Mike Berenstain was an American writer and illustrator best known for creating the popular children's book series The Berenstain Bears. He was born in 1923 in Philadelphia and died in 2012. He wrote and illustrated over 300 books, including The Berenstain Bears and the Trouble with Chores, The Berenstain Bears and the Big Blooper and The Berenstain Bears and the Truth.
