Lucille Colandro is an American children's author best known for her popular series of books about the character Jack, including There Was an Old Lady Who Swallowed a Fly, There Was an Old Lady Who Swallowed a Clover, and There Was an Old Lady Who Swallowed a Shell. She has also written a number of other books for children, including the picture book series The Messy Book.
