Eli Saslow

Eli Saslow is an American journalist, author, and a staff writer for The Washington Post. Born on February 28, 1982, he has built a reputation for his in-depth reporting and narrative nonfiction. Saslow has covered a wide range of topics, including the impact of economic recession, the American presidency, and the aftermath of mass shootings. He has been recognized for his poignant and deeply human storytelling, winning numerous awards throughout his career. Notably, Saslow received the Pulitzer Prize for Explanatory Reporting in 2014 for a series of articles about the prevalence of food stamps in post-recession America.
