This bookshop is dedicated to my lolo - (grandfather in Tagalog) - a WWII veteran who survived Bataan. My earliest memory of him is when I was about 3 - sitting on his lap while he was in his wheelchair - he’d read me every book I’d bring in each Sunday morning to church. He and my lola firmly believed in the foundation of education, family & love - especially a love of learning, inspiring my own love for books, and sharing them with others.
