Hello! I’m Sarah and I love that my books have taken me on so many different adventures, and to far away, places that I may not have otherwise been fortunate enough to be a part of or travel to. Reading has been instilled within my bones - my mom was the volunteer librarian at my elementary school, where my love of books first began. When I was a little girl, I participated in the annual summer reading program at our town library, a place where I later worked throughout high school. I am now a K-12 library/media specialist, and English teacher who has deep-rooted the love of books and reading into my students and within my daughter. I began reading to her while pregnant and bought books before i bought onesies. She is currently a collector of several bookshelves of her own, with a little over 600 books, many which include ones from my childhood that my mom and I saved for her. I have curated my own small library with several “to read” piles, and I’m always on the lookout for a good bargain when it comes to adding to our collections, even though we reside in a small house. 😀
