I'm a retired educator who loves reading and sharing books. It is always an adventure for me to discover hidden and unique books that may have been overlooked. My area of focus primarily centers around children literature (fiction and nonfiction), cooking, and a variety of nonfiction topics. I have a passion for Lighthouses. One of my "bucket list" goals is to visit as many Lighthouses throughout the USA as I can. I have quite a nice collection of various Lighthouse figurines throughout my home. They remind me of the sea, the mystery that the crashing waves around them can hold and the beauty that can surround their great stature when the waters are calm.
