Seller Description
Most of the players contributed annotations to this collection of games from the strongest tournament before 1900. It was won surprisingly by the American newcomer, Pillsbury. The players annotated games by others, not their own. This volume, in a sturdy Dover publisher binding, is now hard to find. More expensive photostatic reprints of inferior quality are being sold on eBay for over $40.
