Accidentally bought 2 so this is the extra book 🤦‍♀️ BUT this is a great short young adult novel based on a true story Mr. O’Dell had learned about. With very few facts actually known about the indigenous woman who lived on the island, this book is heavily fictitious and slightly racist yet the story is well told.
