Seller Description
These paperback books belonged to my grandparents and they are cleaning some things out. These books I BELIEVE were printed in the 70's or early 80's and most of them don't have an IBSN number, so it's best guess. They have been sitting in a closet for ever, so I wiped them down and cleaned them up as best as I could. In being completely honest, my grandparents did smoke in the house in the 70's (because EVERYONE did) but their house as been smoke free for the last 30 years. They are in what I would say is excellent condition for as old as they are, but they definitely have some wear, mostly on the cover and spines. The spines are delicate, so it's easy to crack them. A fun little thing, the books still contain the original advertisements for detective book clubs and cigarettes- a throw back. I know they're old but I think they will make a great home to someone! This is the entire 5 book series of Superintendent Battle, and book three- Cards on the Table- is also book 15 of the Hercule Poirot series.
