This is a vintage 1941 copy of The Praise Of Folly, the classic philosophical work of renaissance humanist Desiderius Erasmus. Originally written in Latin, this translation was undertaken by Hoyt Hopewell Hudson. This copy is the second printing of the Modern Library edition. This book is in very good vintage condition. The original dust jacket is included, although there are some minor tears. The binding is intact. There is a stamp inside the front cover, and there may be some pencil markings in the margins that can be easily removed.
