This the 1952 edition of the Modern Library version of this book and is#283 in their series The book is in Good condition with light wear. the spine is right and there is a slight lean. The only flaws are some small notes in pencil at the Table of Contents and some foxing/staining at the title page where a newspaper clipping from a 1955 story from The NY Times Book review was kept. The dustjacket is in good condition with some wear at the edges and along the spine, including some small chips and tears. The price has been clipped.
