This book reads like a sluggish season of a Breaking Bad rip off. The story had potential, but the author felt he should try to convince his paying readers to follow his politics. There was a bit of action through out, and some eye-squinting gore, but all in all, it fell flat.

This book was very enjoyable. It had touches of horror mixed with sadness and hopelessness. There were a few parts in the book where I think I cringed as I read them. As a latina, the transitions from English to Spanish made the book relatable but spoke of a reality I have never known.
