These books contain original stories, adventures and were associated with the Star Wars Missions Roleplaying Game (you don’t have to own or play the game though to read the individual original story in each book). This series of books was followed by the “Star Wars Episode I Adventures” Series Books. The books from this series are VERY tough to find, especially in decent condition. The higher the number of book the harder it is to find (they start to climb at about#7 and then start to dramatically climb at about#11). These were only available if you were a member of the Star Wars Fan Club AND you paid for an optional subscription to receive these books once a month. After you received your official Darth Vader starter kit (I have an extra kit if anyone is interested) a continuity package would arrive in the mail each month with a copy of that month’s book, an issue of Star Wars Kids magazine, additional playing cards and a new planet map/blueprint.
