Maximum Ride: The Manga* follows Max and her adopted family, the Flock, as they face various threats while trying to live normal lives. The Flock members are seemingly ordinary kids with wings, given avian DNA through genetic splicing by a mysterious boy. They have no memories of their past lives, homes, or families. In the series, the Flock faces challenges such as rescuing Angel from half-human, half-wolf "Erasers" in New York City.
