Kristin Hannah is an excellent writer who pulls on heartstrings and emotions exceptionally well. The Four Winds is no exception. She really captured the bleakness of the Depression and Dust Bowl, but injected elements of hope. I enjoyed this story. The book itself is in great shape, there is damage from a sticker on the dust jacket (pictured).
