I was surprised at how much I enjoyed this! I was all in on the character aspects of the book. However, the climax did fall a bit flat for me...which is keeping this from being a 5 star read.

I love this book! Phenomal start to a series. I’m really picky when it comes to alternage histories but Novik creates a story that has dragons during the Napoleonic Wars that doesn’t feel forced.
