This book starts with the basics about choosing yarns and needles, etc., casting on, getting started and ends with fair isle and intarsia! The diagrams are very user friendly and helpful. I like having a book to look at when im learning something. Videos are good but a book with diagrams, photos, measurements that I can set in front of me (and not need to be starting, stopping, pausing) is the way to learn IMHO! Note: there is a little discoloration on the title page.
