I really wanted to read this book—quite a number of years before the anti-CRT racist BS hit the headlines. But I'm not great at digging through readings in advanced legal studies, and I got bogged down. While reading, I made fairly moderate marks, but I only got to page 19 (of 494), for what it's worth (see sample of marked page in photo above). Basically, this is just a book I intended to read. I've decided that a lot of the non-fiction I read is really good stuff that is nevertheless not great for my mental health.
