Seller Description
History is Exciting Fun - right ? Well, this splendidly researched volume makes History come Aalive with meaning. It is so good we should be giving them Free to every schoolchild, period. Timetables is one of my favorite books of all time (punintentional) personally as fun reference book & as a gift. Shows concurrent events worldwide from 5,000 BC to 1974; events in politics, literature, philosophy, religion, Arts, Music, Science & Daily Life. What else happened in 1492 ? Leonardo da Vinci drew his first flying machnie, & Martin Behaim constructed the first terrestrial Globe ! But you knew that, right? Well I sure didn't. And it sure is fun to find out. That usually sends me off to learn about surprisingly fascinating topics. If you haven't perused this book yet you are in for a guaranteed Treat ! Condition is good or better. Dust jacket is mildly discolored lightly golden brown from age - as you can see with the image of book spine and front cover. Only reason I can sell this one is I keep one for myself, & one to loan for friends.
