Here we have a vintage hardcover edition of Candide, by Voltaire. It is quarter-bound in red leather, with gilt decorations and titling. It was published by Fine Editions Press in 1957, and includes an introduction by Thomas Yoseloff. The head edge of the spine is worn, as is the tail edge, to a lesser extent. There is minimal wear to the corners of the clothbound hardcover boards. There are no rips, creases, markings or other damage ot the book.
