Artifacts, 72: "Another one," his dad had said just 2 nights ago. He'd looked up from the local section of the Milwaukee Chronicle and tapped one of the headlines with the back of his hand, drawing his mom's attention from her own section of the Chronicle, which had been Sports. She raised an eye brow as she chewed, so his dad handed the paper over while giving her the summary. "Kid robs a convenience store, they have him on Optix, when they go to his house to arrest him he's got all these guides to winning at this Alien Night Massacre." His mom had picked up the paper and was scanning it. Aaron kept his eyes on his plate. His dad went on "Says he plays it all the time." He shook his head, pushed a French fry (his mom made them from scratch) into his mouth and spoke around it. "Going to use the money to play that game more," His dad muttered. Aaron glanced at his mom, who'd finished reading the article and was handing the paper back. She shook her head. "A shame," she'd griped.
