Ockham believed that natural law was a form of tacit divine command. Thus natural law is originally understood in the tacit form by which it does not lead to a self consciousness. Where by a knowledge stemming from analytical mode would lead to a self conscious. Such analytical knowledge leads us to the utilization of nature through work, service, and commodity. Such activity leads to utility and pleasure, and through this social stature. However by returning to a tacit knowledge we can begin again to follow the will of God and avoid egoistic self consciousness.
