Those of us who have been historically invisible are rising up to share our wisdom and our beauty with the world. My art is inspired by elements in the world around me: politics, social movements, feminism, body positivity, natural beauty, African aesthetics, random images and sound, my feelings, and so much more. With this book, I hope to show the world, especially young women, that anything is possible with hard work, determination, and passion for what you do. In celebrating our beauty, we are fierce champions of a more inclusive and equitable world.
