A great reading copy of a very hard to find Burgess book. Of the four Burgess Childrens books ( The Burgess Animal, Bird, Seashore and Flower Books) the last two are the hardest to find in any condition. Pages and binding are all intact with all 16 illustration pages. No dust jacket. Flaws: A brief owners inscription, foxing on the front piece illustration, the rest of the illustrations are almost clear, very light foxing. Small damaged spot along exterior of spine. Light soiling on the boards, clean interior pages. Please see all photos.
