This is a really good book! I enjoyed this book more than I expected to! If you like historical fiction, this book gives an interesting first person perspective from Patsy - who was very close to her father about how things were for women, her family and other families, political views, leaders, differing opinions of slavery and financial obstacles etc. during the time when Thomas Jefferson was president and after his death. I also thought it was more of a love story than I thought it would be. This was my book club’s choice for June 2024.
