What I would consider a charming little book (4" x 6"), sturdy binding, lovely embossed cover, ribbon to mark your place, previous owners' names in fountain pen inside front cover, published in 1876, reprinted in 1953. Unfortunately, about 60 of the 726 pages have been quite rumpled, but they are still thoroughly readable.
