Here we have books 1-9 of The Last Kingdom series, by Bernard Cornwell (formerly called The Saxon Tales, The Saxon Stories, the Warrior Chronicles, and The Saxon Chronicles. Seriously, these were all official names of the series at various points!) All volumes are in trade papberback, and all but one are matching editions published by Harper. The unmatched book is#1, The Last Kingdom, which is from the first paperback edition. The books include:#1 The Last Kingdom (spine does not match other books. Some edge wear to cover, mainly around corners)#2 The Pale Horseman (small closed tear on top edge of back cover, some curve to the book as a whole)#3 Lords of the North (some edge wear, subtle warping to book)#4 Sword Song (crease in front cover, minor edge wear, some warping)#5 The Burning Land (subtle edge wear, some warping)#6 Death of Kings (noticeable scuffing on front cover, some edge wear, slight corner creasing, warping)#7 The Pagan Lord (some warping, otherwise like new)#8 The Empty Throne (small corner creases, some warping)#9 Warriors of the Storm (crease on front cover, scratches on back cover, warping) When I refer to warping, I mean the entire book has a subtle s-curve to it, so it doesn't lay perfectly flat on the table. You can see this in the photos. It doesn't affect the readability of the books, and it isn't really noticeable when they are on the shelf, but it is there. All books except the third also have a number written on their bottom edge, denoting where they fall in the series.
