This is the classic book about Capablanca by the American Master Fred Reinfeld. It contains 113 deeply annotated games in English descriptive notation with copious diagrams, a biography, and an introduction by the American Grandmaster, Robert Byrne. It is a sturdy trade paperback. The previous owner’s name is neatly penciled on the front free endpaper. There are 2 almost invisible clear tape reinforcements to the covers. The covers show signs of wear, but no tears. On page 57 I have attached a sticky note correction to the identity of the player of the black pieces, not marking the text. This could be removed without damage to the book. The original price of the book was $4.95.
