Albert Einstein's theories and mathematical equations revolutionized the world of science. His ideas and formulas changed the thinking of the astrophysical world. He was the mathematician supreme. But, you may ask, what is his picture doing on my book? I admired the man but was never acquainted with him. He certainly didn't endorse my book, having died long before it was published. So what do Albert Einstein, myself and this publication have in common? Almost nothing. Mathematics maybe, but even that's stretching it. I just thought it would be nice having his picture on the cover of my book. After all, they say you're judged by the company you keep. And another thing: I think I look pretty darn good next to Albert Einstein. My publisher suggested Mel Gibson and I said, "What are you crazy!" (incidentally, Einstein's picture is the one on the left). Anyway, enough about Albert Einstein. His credentials speak for themselves. A little bit about myself and my background, and just a little, lest I be accused of egotism. I have been teaching real estate law for a long time, some say too long and that I need to get a life. Students ask me: "Why do you teach?" All questions should be that simple. "If you can't do, you teach," I tell them. But that's not altogether true. I've always had a passion for teaching and happen to think it's a very noble and rewarding profession. And if my employer happens to read this, it wouldn't hurt if it were a little more rewarding. This publication will teach you real estate and investment math. The formulas are presented in a very simple and easy to understand manner and can be used to solve extremely complex problems. Not only will it be helpful in passing your real estate exam but you will use them many times in the real world when putting real estate deals together.
