Seller Description
Local Woman Missing by Mary Kubica is a thrilling, winding, wild mystery. When two ladies, Meredith, a doula, and her client Shelby go missing, as well as Meredith's young daughter, Delilah, Bea and Kate do their best to help their neighbor Josh solve his wife's disappearance. They watch his son Leo, they try to shift attention from the media away from the grieving father and son, and they even set up search parties for to find Meredith, shortly after Shelby's body is found. They do everything to help their friend through his grief, but one of them is keeping a secret...or a lot of them. Leo, who was too young to remember his mom and sister before they disappeared tries to navigate his feelings as his world falls apart as well as his dad's, only to come back together again for a brief moment, then fall apart again, and then come back together, hopefully for good this time. My thoughts: Wow! Totally insane! At some points I thought I knew where it was going, only to find out that I was wrong. I loved the suspense. I love the build up of each character and the twists and turns of my opinions of each of them. I liked how the story was written and how it all comes together clearly in the end. 9/10
