On Friday (April 25 2025) a judge in Milwaukee was arrested for letting an immigrant leave her courtroom via a side door to avoid ICE agents arresting people at the courthouse. On Saturday (April 26 2025) news reports said children who were US citizens were deported with their mom, with the Trump administration saying the children elected to go with their mom. I didn't read the news on Sunday. But I couldn't stop thinking about the news. An autism registry? The resignation of a 60 Minutes producer because the corporate parent leaned on him to slant the news? Encouraging Russian expansionism? This is all the stuff that I feared when Trump was elected. Our country is dumber, meaner, more expensive and less safe in just 100 days. And people are worried that they'll be arrested for protesting, and nobody has a way to fight back. Sorry if this brings you down. If you voted for Trump i don't want to sell to you anyway.
