Seller Description
Seven issues of a bi-monthly art magazine published in Atlanta in the 1970s. Lasting a short time, this magazine documented the contemporary art scene in and around Atlanta, Georgia as well as the surrounding Southeastern States. These issues came from David Greenberger's private collection. Greenberger is the author & artist behind the Duplex Planet zines. His collection consisted of mail art, zines, magazines, comics and postcards from artists in the United States and around the world. Contemporary Art/Southeast. [Vol. 1 No. 1; Vol. 1 No. 2; Vol. 1 No. 3; Vol. 1 No. 4; Vol. 1 No. 5; Vol. 1 No. 6; and Vol 2. No. 1]. 1977-1978. Illustrated wrappers, stapled bound, printed in black and white. Some rubbing and soiling to wrappers, light age toning throughout, address label of David Greenberger to verso of Vol. 1 No. 1. Overall, nice, bright copies of this seemingly rare art publication.
