For some reason the names of characters on numerous pages have been highlighted throughout the book. Female names in pink and male names in blue. The word "No" on the first page is underlined in pencil. For what purpose this was done i don't know. On page 14 the holes in letters of the first two two lines were filled in with black marker including the letters of the chapter title. Pages 4 to 41 lack the highlighting of name's and save for page 14 were left unmarked. From page 42 to 93 some female names are highlighted but no male names. The name of the cat "mouse" is highlighted in both blue and pink. After page 93 no further markings have been made on the pages with the exception of a picture of the actress who played judy moody having been highlighted.
