Could Batman Beat Gandalf in a fight? This is a tough one, because either Batman has to get to Middle Earth, or Gandalf has to get to Gotham City. Unless they met in the middle? But what would be in the exact middle between crime-ridden Gotham City, and presumably smoggy, sooty, stinking Middle Earth? Let's not forget that when Gandalf left for the Gray Havens, inexplicably having one of the 3 rings given of the Elven lords, a twist that meant nothing but I'll still never forgive Tolkien for it, he left behind a continent that was mostly run by humans, and industrialization had come to the Shire. You think that was going to go away? About the only way you'd get rid of factories is if the dwarves decided to do that, which they might because dwarves like things bespoke, and factories are the opposite of that. Don't count on the elves to stop the Middle Earth Industrial Revolution. They were all deserting the continent. No, it'd have to be the dwarves. To sum up: Batman would win.
