Seller Description
Failure (An ANIAPPT story) The Loseum closed nearly as soon as it opened, which is what you'd expect from a Museum Of Failure. Its failures began with the name. "Low- See-um?" People said. The curators failed to correct them. A proposal to call it the Loozeum died when a board member pronounced it Looz Um. It had no system for charging people to see the exhibits, most of which had not been set up. Some exhibits weren't uncrated. Several had not yet been ordered. Nobody had hired security so visitors were free to touch things like the left shoe of Gus Ainsworth, the man who had tried to set the world record for most failed attempts at setting a world record, but who of course had not been able to do so. A kid tried to steal the shoe but tripped and dropped it and got his own exhibit, or would've but the Loseum was ordered closed because it hadn't been given permission to open. It was, in the end, spectacularly successful in conveying its message, so it even screwed that up.
