It's part of The World of Music series from Ginn and Company. Written by Marguerite V. Hood, Glenn Gildersleeve, and Helen S. Leavitt with art selection by C. Valentine Kirby, this music text features 219 pages in 4 parts. There are 173 folk songs and 59 composed songs. Also included are several full color illustrations, as well as illustrations in blue, black, and white. This is a real delight! This book is in good vintage condition for its age and use. The corners and edges are worn with some fading to the covers and spine. Someone wrote Property of Keene School Dist. 44 in ink inside the front cover. Someone also wrote Book in pencil that was erased at some point. The pages are yellowed, but the illustrations are still bright. A couple of the pages are ripped or are missing a corner. Someone also wrote pencil notations for the names of notes on a couple of the pages, and the back inside cover has multiple notations. The book measures 8 inches by 6.5 inches. It is .75 inches thick.
