Seller Description
This is an annotated book listing, what I do is annotate my personal copy while I read. When someone purchases the listing then I will purchase a second copy and make the annotations in the second copy based on my copy. The copy I purchase will be a paperback copy unless it is a new release then it will be a hardback. Doing it this way allows for more accessibility for others. The main reason however is it allows for certain customizations that wouldn’t be possible if I did it a different way. One customization is whether you want me to write directly into the book or use sticky notes for thoughts. I ask that if you buy an annotated listing you message me with the decision of whether to write in the book or on a transparent sticky note, and whether you want me to highlight or underline passages that I have in my personal book. The highlighted/underlined portions would have to be on the physical book so keep that in mind when making your decisions. If you have any questions please message me, enjoy your reading experience. King of Scars: This book follows the events of the Shadow and Bone Trilogy and the Six of Crows duology. Not much can be said without spoiling too much of the predecessors. I have to mention that I have read the Six of Crow duology and not the shadow and bone trilogy, I was able to understand what was happening and make sense of everything in the King of Scars duology. If this is something you have worried about I would recommend you do read the Six of crows duology first but its not necessary for you to read the Shadow and Bone trilogy. Proceed with caution. For King of Scars you follow Nikolai Lantsov and some of the old gang from Shadow and Bone in an epic tale of self discovery and magical ability. This book was fast to the top of my favorites list when I read it. One of my all time favorites, a truly rollercoaster of a book. This book made me scream with anger and happiness, cry laughing and cry in pain. A true work of art made possible by the one and only Leigh Bardugo. Get your hands on this and enjoy the ride. Rule of Wolves: Here we have to tread carefully as I tell you that you need this book in your life. This is the finale in the bestselling duology, King of Scars is the first book. Which follows the events of Shadow and Bone Trilogy and the Six of Crows Duology. I mentioned this in my description of King of Scars but I will say this, I didn’t read the Shadow and Bone Trilogy. I did read and love the Six of Crows Duology, I had some people I trusted tell me that if I liked the six of crows books then I needed to read King of Scars. They were right when they recommended this duology to me, I would recommend reading the Six of Crows Duology first and the first book King of Scars before reading this. I don’t personally think you need the Shadow and Bone books to love and understand this world. The magic system is written in a way that is easy to grasp, characters that you would take a bullet for and plot that will have you on the edge of your seat. Pick this book up and follow the friends we wish we had. #duology#twobooks#grishaverse#annotatedbooks#leighbardugo#hardback#smallbusiness#ruleofwolves#kingofscars
