This book is a dark magical fantasy, suitable for young adults and adults. I've given another copy of this book to a friend's 17 year-old daughter and she later told me, rather thankfully: "It's my favorite book!" Feel free to go see the reviews on Amazon. The author, Ksenia Anske, and I have been online-friends since 2014 and I was fortunate to get a few copies shipped to me when she moved last month! I personally really liked the story, and found it at times fanciful and others dark and borderline scary.
