If you‘ve read anything by Brett Easton-Ellis (Less Than Zero) & are interested in the author himself, this is a short, fun, weird read (He is the actual author, which is never explained on any of the book selling sites for some reason). You can read this on about half an hour and then wonder why he wrote it, as it is for hetero people “on the dating scene” & is a bit dated (he mentions Blackberries & the “club scene”… who goes to a club to find a date? Oh… anyway…) It is funny and I think the entire thing is meant to be sarcastic with a hint of real advice tossed in. Right away, while reading it- it doesn’t FEEL as though it were written by a woman! Just if you’re curious, you can check it out and see what I mean. This ended up in my cart by accident at a bookstore and I didn’t notice I bought it until I got home and then of course I had to read it. I had to look it up to figure it out!
