Here we have a vintage hardcover of Marcus Aurelius and his Times, published by Walter J. Black as part of the Classics Club Library, in 1945. It is bound in beige binder's cloth over hardcover boards, with red, black and gold accents and decorations, and features a dyed top edge on the text block. It was translated into English by George Long. The book is in excellent condition. There is minimal shelf wear, and some light soiling on the edges of the text blocks. A previous owner's mark is stamped on the first free end paper. There is also a subtle stain on the back cover.
